What is the first word that comes to mind when somebody says the name Michael Phelps? Could amazing be that word? He is probably one of the single best swimmers in the world. He has set more world records than he knows what to do with. And if you have been watching the Olympics in the past week, you know that he broke the record for gold medals won in a single Olympic game, one who Mark Spitz set winning seven gold medals in the 1972 Olympic Games.
Now that the summer days are over, we have another year ahead of us filled with new challenges and experiences. Volunteer State Community College is a great place to find out what you want to do with the rest of your life. With several education departments and non-credit courses, students can choose what they want to learn.
