On behalf of the Student Government I would like to welcome all new and returning students to Volunteer State.
I know I speak for myself and the organization as a whole when I say that we will do everything in our power to represent the students in the manner in which they deserve.
We always welcome new members, are open to suggestions from the student body and can be contacted either by stopping in at the Club Center in the Wood Campus Center or by email at SGA@volstate.edu. I can also be reached personally at loverhalser@volstate.edu if anyone would prefer making suggestions or receiving more information that way.
I would also like to encourage everyone to join one (or more) of the numerous clubs and organizations on campus.
I cannot stress enough the benefits of becoming involved in our close-knit community or the ways that doing so can help shape the experience you have during your time at Volunteer State.
I am greatly looking forward to seeing all of you in classes and hope to see you all at campus events and meetings, as well. I wish all of you luck and success in the new school year.
