Students can earn credit designing bus

Students can now serve on the Design Team for the new Trousdale County Mobile Learning Center and earn college credit. This fall the Department of Visual and Performing Arts is offering a special course in art that will design and paint a bus that will serve the needs of a new non-profit Mobile Learning Center. Design principles and creative teamwork will be emphasized. No previous art experience required, but students should delight in creative hands-on activity and be willing to meet new challenges. A variety of service activities will be available. We will interact with our community client and design the bus here on campus. Time and place to TBA. Effort will be made to suit the needs of students in scheduling both class and work sessions. Register by permit only: Art 280T for 1 or 2 credits with Sue Mulcahy.
